*lemon lime soda 67¢/2 liter (we drink lots of limeades with all the fresh fruit in the summer)
*lemon lime soda five 12 pk/$9
*replaced zipper in jeans for son...not a fun job, but a sense of accomplishment being my first time doing it and saved them lots of money....zipper $4...new jeans $30...great savings!
*eating spinach and a very small onion from garden, lots of rhubarb (making desserts and syrup for limeades with it so far)
*took inventory of pantry, cupboards, freezer, etc and making as many meals as possible with what we have without buying lots of groceries every week
*enjoyed fresh fish from brother-in-law....yum!
*earned $30 in swagbucks, turned it in for Amazon bucks and bought birthday gift for son and me a new paper trimmer.
*rec'd shampoo/rinse, lotion, coffee samples in the mail
*rec'd lots of papercraft goodies for DT work with other companies
*free frozen custard with birthday coupon from Culvers
*free ice cream cone with birthday coupon from Baskin Robins
*great savings on goodies I needed for a "Sunshine in a Basket" that I wanted to make for a friend. 50¢ baskets and mugs at Goodwill.
*cereal 3 boxes for $5. My rule is no cereal unless it is $2 or under which means we don't buy a lot of cereal. Was so glad to find this bargain as DH likes to eat cereal for supper when he comes in late from the field (late as being after 9 pm)
Nice bargains, Debbie. That's my same goal with cereal, but I buy a lot of it. Eric also likes it as a late night snack, and our kids have it for snacks. I don't serve it to them for breakfast, or we would fly through it!
