Sweet Wishes Just for You

The last two Millie Mouse cards I made for Inky Antics for
CHA. I love everyone of these images that Tammy DeYoung drew for them. I used Basic Grey's "Nook & Pantry" line of paper for both cards.

Tomorrow I have a fun project to share that I've been working on and some exciting news to share with you as well.

You're Special

Another really cute image by Inky Antics drawn by artist Tammy DeYoung. This cupcake paper by Basic Grey is perfect for this image.

CSAYL A Colorful Christmas

Today we were challenged to make a Christmas cards with shades of pink. I immediately thought of this paper by Scenic Route that I still have on hand. I used one of my croceted flowers and a snowflake brad (that I've had so long I don't have a clue where it came from) to make a very simple card.

Don't forget to check the CSAYL blog to see what the other DT members created.

Two more Movin

Here are the last two Movin cards I made for Inky Antics for CHA. I love this Basic Grey paper with these images.

The Skipping Stones auctions are now over. Thank you everyone who bid on the cards. I know it may have seemed like such a little thing, but every bit helps Haiti.

HOP(e) for Haiti

Welcome to Skipping Stones Design’s Blog Hop(e) for Haiti. If you just happened upon my blog today, you’ll want to go back to the beginning at Skipping Stones Design. You should have come from Peggy Russell’s blog.

As a company, Skipping Stones Designs wanted to do something to give back to the people who have been so devastated by the Haitian Earthquake. So they invited
some stampers to join them in this cause.

Each card you see on the blog hop today will be auctioned on E-bay with all proceeds going to the Red Cross in support of the Haitian Relief Effort (please check the Skipping Stones Design Website for the link to the auction). 100% of the proceeds of the Ebay auction and $2.00 from every stamp set purchased from February 16 - 22 will be donated to the Red Cross. We know that we can make a difference.

This is the card I made for the auction. It is made with Skipping Stone's Degins "Dandelion Dreams". Because I used embossed patterned paper, I embossed 5 of the images with a cranberry embossing powder to match the paper.

Thank you for stopping by and your next blog to hop to is Latisha's.

How about a prize? In addition to the fabulous eye candy, we have decided to hide a prize somewhere along the hop! There will be a few pre-release sets up for grabs hidden along the blog hop. The fun part is...we're not telling you who it is! So as you hop, make sure you leave comments on every post so you have a chance to win!!

If there is a break somewhere along the way, there will be a master list at:

Skipping Stones Design or at Sparkle and Bling

Missing Grandma

I wasn't going to post this, but it has been a melancholy day. Today is grandma's birthday. Today is filled with so many memories. It seems like everything I did today brought a memory of grandma to mind. I'm not writing this to get lots of comments, it just a way for me to write what I feel.

Happy Birthday Grandma! I know you are enjoying your day in heaven with grandpa and Jesus. I miss you both.

This and that

I had a bit of a relapse and haven't been able to stamp at all. Now that I'm back on the mend (I HOPE) and we have a long weekend (teacher in-service Monday), I am hoping to get some stamping in so I can share some new things with you all.

Here is a blog I stumbled across and thought this was such a cool idea!

This is another of Inky Antics Millie Mouse that Tammy DeYoung designed for them. I LOVE daisies and this mouse just makes me smile. Ăś

Funky House

This is another image in the "Movin' On" set by Inky Antics (be sure to go to their website and these are now available for purchase) or you can buy it singlely (is that a word?) I like that they have this option.

Mini Valentine Pizza Box

This little pizza box was made for Tombow's blog. The template for the box came from here on Paper Craft Planet. The link may not work unless you are a member of the 3D Tuesday Challenge Group. It is easy to join. The challenge/template is called Pizza Box.

I used Mono Adhesive Power Bond to put the box together and Mono Adhesive Permanent for the patterned paper and other items.

I LOVE the Power Bond ahesive! Think red line tape on a roller! This stuff is awesome!

I was inspired by all the red and pink projects I've seen on Splitcoaststampers and several blogs.

The patterned paper on the sides and top of the box are from Basic Grey's "Blush" line.

I stamped the patterned heart from SU!'s Always set. The hearts on the diecut (cut with my Cricut) was stamped in white ink using hearts from Lizzie Anne Designs L'Amour set as well as the sentiment stamped in burgundy on the tag.

I finished it off with some vintage ribbon and a quiling pin. I cut the end off of the pin, so one wouldn't get poked. Ăś It's not in the intructions, but I also added
a little brad on the end.
This helps to open the box. I think I will make a heart shaped cookie to put inside to give to a friend.

On the Move

This is a new set (or you can buy the images in singles) from Inky Antics that was introduced at CHA as well. I haven't heard from Jackie yet, but I am hoping that my samples were well received and that she got lots of orders.

I LOVE this house image!!! I made a notepad with 1/2 a junior legal pad for this project.

The papers are from Basic Grey's 2009 Christmas line called "Eskimo Kisses". As soon as I saw the house paper I knew I wanted to use it for this set. (I will be showing more later with the other images in the set and this line of paper)

I colored this image with Copic markers. I love how welcoming the house looks with "light" shining through the windows welcoming anyone to come and visit. Ăś

Pantry Update:
Saturday we were gone all day to Benjamin's speech meet. We met up with my brother, SIL and nephew (also got to see nephew and friends of Aaron's perform) and then went out to eat supper with brother, SIL and nephew.

Sunday: waffles for breakfast, we were taken out for dinner and supper was waffles for Aaron and Bruce and finger foods at church for Benjamin and myself (we went to a music nite at the country church that moved to the village Ăś)
