Thank you and a winner!

I want to thank all of you for your kind comments about my card using the Leap Frog set from Storage Units Ink & More.

I have a very tired little boy (okay maybe not so little, but he is my baby). Aaron couldn't figure out why he was so tired when he thought he slept well at camp. I told him I was always that way too. It's go, go, go at camp and then come home and crash. Ü I can't wait til tomorrow when he is able to show us his pictures and tell us all about it. Maybe he will let me share a few with you.

Okay, I know, I know, it's time for the winner of Leap Frog...

I LOVE frogs! Growing up, they were my favorite animal and I
have collected them since before I can remember. This set is absolutely adorable and one that I would use over and over again! Too cute!

Miss L, please e-mail me your full name and address and Denise will get your set out to you. You have until 6 pm tomorrow night to respond. If I don't hear from you, I will draw a new name. Thank you every one for entering!

Oh Hoppy Day!

Edited again: Last nite when I was trying to get this post together Blogger went down and I'm just now noticing part of what I had written is gone. Most of it wasn't that important, but this card was inspired by the layout of Cambria's card on her blog. I wanted to be sure to give her credit for the layout.
Edited: Okay this is weird, the post at 6 this morning didn't show the card!! Here it is.
I am very excited to show you yet another new set from Storage Units, Ink & More. This one is called Leap Frog. Since I have two boys, I just had to have this set.
I used two images from this set to make this card. I actually stamped a whole sheet (8.5" x 11") with one frog using SU!'s Basic Grey ink to make my own background paper. I used orange, green and brown
Core'dinations cardstock for the solid color accents. This cardstock is soooo cool! It has a "core", but it's not white like alot of other companies. This cardstock has a COLORED core that is a different shade of the cardstock. It also has a texture like Bazzill making it a really nice quality. You can see from my card the lighter core color in the brown piece that I tore. This cardstock can also be sanded to show the core color which I also did with all 3 colors.
I used prismacolor pencils and gamsol to color my images. Added some stitching, ribbon and computer generated saying to finish it off.
Would you like a chance to win this set? Just leave a comment here to en
ter to win. I will draw a name sometime Thursday night after I pick up my youngest son from camp.

Toucan Thanks

I may be posting a few times today. There is an option to create a post and then set up the time you want it to be posted. Because tomorrow is the first day that the sneak peeks start on SU Ink & More, I want to be sure to have my post ready to guide you first thing in the morning. We've been having bad weather and I want to be sure that the post is able to go through in case I can't get on line.

This card was made with one of the images that I colored last month when I was working the polls. Images are SU!-I think both are retired.

Mr. Bumbly

This card was made for a challenge on Embellish It Online. If you want to play along you can go here.
Image is Mr. Bumbly from Inky Antics, paper is SU!

Proof I've been stamping and a reject

Here are the cards (upside down) that I put in the mail today. You can see the color combination in the colored pencils and paper that I used for all 28 cards.
Here is the "reject". I sent this in to 3-4 places for submission and didn't hear from any of them, so I will post it here for you all to see.
