BFB The Pursuit of Tamsen Littlejohn
The Pursuit of Tamsen Littlejohn was a good book, but the history put into it was a bit long and boring and at times I would not get what the point of the real history and the made up story had in common.
If all of that very long detail had been left out, it would have been a 5 star book for me. In The Pursuit of Tamsen Littlejohn Tamsen Littlejohn escapes her wicked stepfather and marriage proposal of a would be suitor. She seeks refuge with a stranger who whisks her away to the Watauga settlement in western North Carolina. However, life becomes even more complicated. The story is filled with lots of intriguing moments and revelations as the two get to know each other and find the truth about their pasts.
I received this e-book free from Water Brook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
