Block Party Day Seven

**Note: I am going to give everyone until Sunday night midnight to comment, as some subscribe to my e-mail and don't see the post until the next day. I will draw a name Monday morning.

Today is the last day of my Fun with Blocks Block Party. I have had a blast and am definitely not done creating with this file. I have so many ideas of what I want to create with them.

I decided to go out with a big project and connected the blocks to this sewing machine from the Sewing Machine Set.

I am loving how this turned out and it will sit on my sewing machine table.

One of the things I did different with this set of blocks was added dried beans in them to make it more sturdy. I can't believe how heavy it is with just a few beans in each box.

In the view above you can see the matchbox. Pull on the brad and I can store goodies in there.

Thank you for taking this Block Party ride with me. Be sure to comment on any or all of the posts this week and I will draw a name sometime on Sunday. When you comment, make sure you are signed in or leave your e-mail, so that I can get a hold of you.

  1. Cute! I like the little box for storage and the idea of adding beans to the boxes for weight. Great week of projects!
