"Think Pink" Tombow Challenge

Hello! I am your hostess challenge over on the Tombow Blog this month. With October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I am challenging you all to create a project using pink.

For my project I altered a $1 calendar notepad. I tore all the pages out (they were adhered at the top) and then with my coil machine punched holes on the left side. I cut 2 pieces of chipboard a little bit bigger than the calendar sheets and covered with patterned paper using a Mono Glue Stick. The Glue Stick is my favorite adhesive for adhering paper to chipboard. It is best to add adhesive to the whole sheet, so the paper doesn’t “bubble” up in spots that adhesive doesn’t touch if you use a runner.

The flower was cut once with chipboard and once with patterned paper. Adhered together with Mono Glue Stick and then adhered to the front of the notepad with Power Tabs. The button is also adhered with 1/4 Power Tab. I cut tabs with my QuicKutz and stamped on the months and adhered the tabs to the calendar pages using
Mono Adhesive Permanent.
