This week's challenge on Designed2Delight's blog is to paper piece. I used this free I {Heart} the USA image that you can pick up in the store.
I used SU!, My Mind's Eye, K & Company and some paper I got at Hobby Lobby to create this paper pieced heart. To paper piece the heart, I printed the image 3 times: on red, blue and cream papers. Then I cut the red stripes and adhered to the white image and then cut the blue stars. Those stars took awhile to cut and glue, but I like how it turned out.
"Grateful" is by SU! and the ribbon is vintage seam binding. I distressed the edges with ink.
We only have four players so far and would love to have you come and join us here and play along. You have a great chance at winning a D2D image of your choice!
