I loved this fruit set (Tuitti Fruity) by Lizzie Anne Designs as soon as I saw the sneak preview. It has an apple, cherries, strawberry, pear and other fun stamps in it and we raise all of those fruits. This set will be perfect for making tags for my jars of jams and jelly this summer and fall as well as cards to go with pies we give as gifts.
Okay, so on to the card. I used SCS sketch #215 for my inspiration layout. There is a boo-boo on this card that is creatively covered up. Behind the semi circle cutout made with SU!'s slot punch is a black smudge from my finger. I was just feeling so good that I got all three bunches of cherries lined up and then smudged the end! So I just took a different direction with my card than what I had in mind and like how it turned out even better!
Recipe:
paper: SU! white & black; patterned is Shabby Princess line by Bo Bunny
ink: Memento black and SU! markers
other: SU! slot punch, misc brads
Such a cute card! I have to agree with you that these stamps would look cute as tags or even stamped onto decorative jar labels.
