I always love to see and read about fellow stampers papercrafting tips, don’t you? Well, this week Joanna has asked the DT to share with you how we organize the cards we make throughout the year.
I have had this Sterilite container for several years and have stored my cards in it. I had made some dividers with cardstock and they had become so bent and grungy and had planned for some time now to update them, but just never seemed to get around it. So this challenge was perfect for me!
To make my dividers, I cut some very heavy chipboard (my post office lady saves them for me, they come with the flat sheets of postage stamps and she knows I can use them for something Ü) and then covered them (front and back) with patterned paper that fits the theme (of the cards going behind them) with Tombow’s Mono Adhesive Permanent.
Then I punched some tabs with my SU! tab punch and hand wrote the type of cards that I seem to make and use the most.
I adhered these (staggering them as shown in the picture below) with the Mono Adhesive Permanent also.
Great idea! Beats the heck out of my shoebox. TFS
ReplyDeleteoh, look at you go!! My dividers are just ugly cardboard! I'm not so fancy! :)
ReplyDeleteI use a similar box but have the cards in labelled brown paper bags-mind if I steal-sorry borrow your idea of dividers-looks so much better.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea...and pretty too!!
