Visions of Sugarplums Day 3

Welcome to the final day of Visions of Sugarplums 2015 hop. Have you been inspired to create something new this year? I know I have a couple things on my list I want to try now and several for next year.

Today I have 3 projects to share with you. First up is a project that I love to create when giving bread. I call food my "love language". I love giving food gifts, esp those that I have made myself. You can find the instructions on how to make this paper "basket" here.

Here is a peek at the double sided paper

and here is the yummy cranberry orange bread (recipe here)

My next project is a fun and easy way to decorate a paper sack. This happens to be a mini paper sack that I purchased at my pharmacy in bulk years ago. I just cut two pieces of cardstock a little bit wider than my sack. The sack was cut down and then I decided how tall I wanted it and punched holes at the top. Then the fun part...decorating one of the panels, then gluing to the sack.

My last project is a fun way to use up scraps and makes a wonderful decor and/or gift for someone.
I cut strips of scraps of paper and adhered them to a piece of cardstock that fit into my frame. (the frame I picked up at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon)
Then I just cut letters to spell "peace". I've also made these with "laugh" and "faith". I love the soft wintery colors that this created.

Thank you so much Lori for letting me play along with you this year and thank you readers for all your kind words about my projects. I hope that I have inspired you to create something fun.

  16. All are very lovely and creative wrappings for gift of bread, candy and cookies. I make cookies every year and these have inspired me to do something more than putting them on a plate covered with wrap...at least I use colored wrap.
