EIO October Gallery Opens today

You can view the Embellish Online gallery here. I'll be back in a few minutes to post who won the sneak peek guess. Ü

We were given Imaginisce Halloween papers, Halloween Cuttlebug Embossing folder and embellishments to use for this month gallery challenge. Here are the items I made...

Fun little mint purse. You can see a tutorial of how to make these on my blog:http://debbiedee.blogspot.com/2007/1...-tutorial.html

I adhered paper to a leaf chipboard piece by SU!, then rubbed the spider on hollowhimsy paper using bat scratch rubons

When I think of Halloween, I think of Trick or Treating and one needs a bag to do that. But this can be for an adult as well as a child. Fill with goodies and it's perfect for sitting on a desk or table. This is called a "Genie" Bag named after someone on SCS.

Basically you cut cardstock panels for the front and back the width (plus 1/8" -1/4") and then the height of the lunch sack (in this project, I used a mini sack).

Cut the lunch sack down (you can see in the side view what I am talking about).

Decorate front panel and attach front and back panels to the bag.

Punch slot at the top for a handle.
EIO items used: Imaginisce: hollowhimsy paper, rest in pieces chipboard

bag is cut with Cricut cartridge "Tags, Bags, Boxes & More"

items from EIO Store: Inaginisce: hollowhimsy paper, bat scratch rubons; Basic Grey patterned paper:Dasher (dots), Basic Grey brown

This is my favorite and the item that was used in the sneak peek:

This card was fun to do. I had these pages in a file from an old book. I have no idea what the name of the story book was, but at the time I had found them at a thrift shop, I thought of how I could used them on cards. I was going thru my files for some inspiration and thought this would be perfect. This took on a whole different look than I first planned, but I am still pleased with the result. I sponged the moon lightly with pumpkin ink, used bat rub-ons on the ribbon and cuttlebugged the scallop circle punch in the corner of the embossing folder and then sponged it to make the image "pop"

Items from EIO store: skeleton skroll cuttlebug folders, Imaginisce: bump in the night brads, hollowhimsy paper, bat scratch rubons

Just click on the EIO icon on the right side and it will take you to the store.
