Most Old Order Amish women spend their time with the garden, household duties, raising children etc., but Sylvia loves being in the barn and taking care of the families dairy farm.
She must leave the farm and start over after an incident involving a former boyfriend.
Aaron returns home after spending time in rehab to help his parents sell their failing farm and get them to move to town with him and help him sell appliances.
When he comes home he finds his parents have hired Sylvia to help with the dairy. The two butt heads over whether the farm should be sold or not.
Through this, both need to learn forgiveness for things in their past, be able to accept grace and learn to love again.
Loved this book and would recommend the whole series as well as other books written by Cindy Woodsmall.
