I have been wanting to make a word book album for a long time. When I first saw them in scrapbooking stores, I didn't want to pay the price, so kept holding off. I was so excited to see Cutting Cafe's A-Z Huge Letter Sheets cutting file. Now I can make any word book I want with this file. Ü While these are somewhat time consuming, they are fun. The nice thing is if I want to make a boy version (which I will) after making the pages the sizes I wanted, they are now done and saved to my computer so I don't have to do that again.
For the whole album I used Echo Park's Country Drive paper line and Tombow's Stamp Runner Permanent adhesive.
Now on to my album:
The idea for this page came from a gal that I met at CHA. Her name is Nana Campana. She showed me this cool album that she had made using Tombow's Fastener Tabs where you can switch the words under a photo. That is what I did on the page below.
Be sure to stop by the Cutting Cafe blog to see all the "School" themed project the rest of the DT created.

Our Craft Lounge news!
I have some exciting news to share! As of this week, I am now officially a DT member for Our Craft Lounge! Ü It was fun seeing their adorable booth at CHA and visiting with my on line friend Kendra for a very SHORT time! definitely getting together next time!
Each week OCL has a challenge that they post on Friday. This week's challenge was to create a shape card. This one is a tough one for me as I always just make the same boring square cards. Ü But it was fun to go out of my comfort zone.
I used OCL's In Flight stamp set and Mel Stampz free flower template to create this card.
The butterfly is colored with Tombow markers, adhered to the verse circle and then popped up with Tombow's Foam Tabs.
Be sure to check out the OCL blog for lots of fun inspiration.

Handmade Flower Notepad
I created this notepad for va.sunshine's challenges on SCS for her DTGD challenge. You will need to be a member to see what her challenge is. Already a member? Then go here for her challenge details.
At CHA I learned a fun way to make handmade flowers using Tombow's Mono Multi Liquid Glue. They are so much fun and so addictive! I designed this project for a DTGD challenge on SCS and have created a little tutorial for you on how to make the flowers.
I created the notepad with scraps of patterned papers left over from my CHA cards I created for Inky Antics. These notepad covers are perfect for using up scraps like this. I was able to make 5 notepads with all the little scraps I had left over and didn't have to add them to my scrap file! Ü
Now on to how to make the flower.
1. Run a strip of Mono Adhesive Removable on a piece of scrap paper/CS. This hold down your circle pieces so that when you add the Multi Glue they won't move around on you.
2. Punch a bunch of circles and adhere to the removable adhesive strip and lightly squeeze some Multi Liquid Glue around on them using the nozzle to spread around.
When the glue dries it will be clear and stay tacky for you to add your elements to it. You can see the first ones I did are starting to turn clear.
3. Using the element you want for your outside layer, pinch and scrunch and press into the glue. Here I am using crepe paper.
4. Continue doing this all the way around and trim when you make one round.
5. Add a Tombow Power Tab to the center for your next element.
6. Add your next element to the Power Tab. Here I chose a paper flower. Add another Power Tab into the center of the flower.

7. Add your last element to the Power Tab. You can see I added a button that I threaded crochet thread through. (I don't like "naked" buttons. Ü)
There ya go! I fun and funky flower! Since the patterned paper had birds in it at the top of my note pad, I punched a SU! bird and added it nestled into the flower to finish off my project.

Christmas Snowman
Today is a reminder post to come and play along with us at Designed2Delight. This week's challenge is to use buttons.
I used SU! buttons that I have had for YEARS! I'm sure they don't even carry these now, but I love them. The colors were perfect for the papers I used.
Stamps: D2D digital Christmas Snowman
Paper: Daisy D's, K & Co.
Other: markers, SU! buttons, Sugar Sparkly Stuff by OCL (love this stuff! Ü), Tombow Power Tabs, Mono Multi Liquid Glue, Mono Adhesive Permanent, crochet thread

Great Day Cupcake
The DTGD challenges continue on SCS. I created this card for Dina K's challenge. Again, you need to be a member to see what the challenge details are. You can find them here as well as other DTGD challenges.
This card was also sent to Inky Antics to put up in their booth at CHA. It was so much fun to see IN PERSON all my cards and projects set up in their booth! Ü
I used Inky's 11026MC Cupcake Birdy HoneyPOP Clear Set. I paperpieced the cupcake image and used papers by My Mind's Eye.
Here is a peek at the inside:
Isn't this fun? I love these honeycomb cards. So much fun to make and receive!
I used Tombow's Mono Adhesive Permanent for all the card except the honey comb and for that I used their Mono Glue Stick. The images are colored with Tombow's Irojiten colored pencils and blended with Inky Antics' Gamsol.
This is my 3rd post, so be sure to scroll down to see the other 2 posts.

BI Tub of Flowers
Today is my turn to post on Biblical Impression's blog and I chose this image 82001 Tub of Flowers.
I used papers from K & Company, paper flowers from QKR Stampede be sure to check out all the other lovely packages they have, and Coffee Bean Brown Sparkly Fluff from Our Craft Lounge (like fun flock with glitter in it-FUN stuff! Ü).
Here is a close-up of the Sparkly Fluff in the paper flowers:
Be sure to come back at 8 am for 2 more posts of projects I made for Dare to Get Dirty challenges on SCS.

Dress Shaped Card
I LOVE this cutting file by Cutting Cafe! It is from Regina's Dress Shaped Card 2 file. If you don't have a cutting machine, that is okay, because it also comes in PDF and you can just cut the images out by hand.
I had these vintage looking papers by Daisy D's and they were perfect to create my dress card. I used a pigma pen to make the dashes and dots and some buttons and crochet thread finished it off.
Be sure to stop by the Cutting Cafe blog for more inspiration this week using this shaped card.

BFB The Harvest of Grace
Most Old Order Amish women spend their time with the garden, household duties, raising children etc., but Sylvia loves being in the barn and taking care of the families dairy farm.
She must leave the farm and start over after an incident involving a former boyfriend.
Aaron returns home after spending time in rehab to help his parents sell their failing farm and get them to move to town with him and help him sell appliances.
When he comes home he finds his parents have hired Sylvia to help with the dairy. The two butt heads over whether the farm should be sold or not.
Through this, both need to learn forgiveness for things in their past, be able to accept grace and learn to love again.
Loved this book and would recommend the whole series as well as other books written by Cindy Woodsmall.
