A Refuge at Highland Hall by Carrie Turansky is the 3rd and last book in her Edwardian Bride series. Set in 1915 in England and France we find the Ramsey family struggling with losses due to the first World War.
As Penny welcomes orphans to Highland Hall, she finds she has bit off a bit more than she can chew.
This story is filled with romances, but also the hope and courage of those who face loss and difficult challenges that war brings. I loved this series from Carrie and look forward to reading more by her.
