Designer Purse

Remember THIS paper/fabric purse I made earlier? I taught how to do these (minus the fabric, paper only) at CHA this summer. They were a hit! I had several designer paper combos, so they could choose the color they wanted to create their own fun designer bags.

The purse tutorial on how to make these was found on YouTube. For this particular style, I adhered a clear bubble with Mono Aqua Glue to a punched designer paper circle, then adhered that to a cut "flap" that is adhered to the back of the purse with Power Tabs and to the front with a Fastener Tab.

The flower was made using May Arts ribbon and Mono Multi Liquid Glue. You can click HERE to see how I made the flower.

I also used Mono Adhesive Power Bond for the pink designer strips at the top of the purse. Lots of adhesives were used to make this super easy to create.

  1. AWESOME paper purse!! So cute. I haven't had time to do Stephanie's class yet. Hopefully this week will get a chance. I signed up for Christy's Tomlison's Living Canvas class and haven't finished it either .... so many classes .... so little time teehee. I'm trying to resist Junelle Jacobson's class but her sketches are so stinkin' cute and really inspired me in her last class. Hope you have a great week and are inspired by Stephanie's class!
