If you are a fan club member it is that time of year when Splitcoaststamper's Dirty Dozen past and present come together and hostess and make samples for the Dare To Get Dirty challenges over the next few days.
Today I am a hostess for a challenge. You need to be a fan member to play along and see the challenges. There is so much inspiration, if you haven't joined you should! Go here to join.
Here is the project I have created. I used Inky Antics X2-2940 Square Box Template as the base for their new 2031E Melty S'more and 2035D S'more Kit.
Here is a look at the box with the lid open:
Isn't this a fun little treat box to fill with S'more ingredients for one?! Ü I colored the image with colored pencils and blended with Gamsol. I used Tombow's Mono Adhesive Power Bond to put the box together.
You can go HERE for more info for playing along in this challenge (will have to be a fan member to know what the challenge is).
Don't forget Regina is having a contest and awesome SALE going on right now at Cutting Cafe!

Celebrating Caterpillar
This fun digi image is a new one from Designed2Delight called Celebrating Caterpillar. Still determined to whittle down my scrap box, I used scraps to create the card. I was inspired by this sketch on Our Craft Lounge yesterday and used it for inspiration for my card.
I used Tombow's markers and colored pencils to color the image.
Hop over to the D2D blog to see what other DT member created using buttons and play along with us for a chance to win some free digi images. Have you checked out the D2D album? It is full of inspiration all in one spot.
Pop back in for another post at 8 AM as I am the hostess for a challenge on Splitcoaststampers annual DTGD (Dare to Get Dirty) challenges.

More Inky Fun
Here are a few more goodies I created for Inky Antics for CHA. It was so much fun meeting Jackie. I wished we would have had more time together.
This first project uses Inky's V1-1223 Rectangle Box Template decorated with 2072J Candy Cane Birdy and 3381D Sweet Treats. I LOVE Inky's box template stamps!
I created the box and then made a band to wrap around it. Just slip off the band and open the box.
This fun box uses 10189X Tall Bag Template showing 0115F Skating Birdy and 3260D Season's Tweetings.
All of the papers are from K & Company's Wild Saffron paper pad. I used Tombow's Mono Adhesive Power Bond and Irojiten Colored Pencils and Inky's Gamsol to blend the pencils.
You can see the rest of the image in this set here

One Spring Day
Today I am sharing a card I designed using Cutting Cafe's "One Spring Day" digi set.
The technique that I used to color the leaves can be found here on YouTube. I used Tombow's Dual Brush Pens for coloring the image: greens 346 & 192; browns 969 & 977, N95 for shading the digi image and 026 for shading on the paper pieced bow.
The paper is K & Co's Wild Saffron line I picked up at Hobby Lobby.

CHA pics
Here is a fun and funky dress created by Crafty Coulture. There were some really bizarre dresses made with craft products, but this one was my favorite.

I'm baaaack!!!
Just got home from CHA and am sooooo tired. Had a GREAT time and will post more about it later. Got to meet some on line friends and that was awesome as well! Was sooooo busy in the Tombow booth I barely had time to take pics, but have a few and will share after I get some sleep.
D2D Love Ewe & Stylish Bloom
Good Morning! Today I will be flying back to NE from CHA and I'm sure will have lots to share with you in the days to come. Ü
Today I want to share a card I made awhile back and never got uploaded. This card is using Love Ewe & Stylish Bloom. Aaron helped me "erase" the heart the sheep was holding and insert the bloom. I think this will make a cute "thinking of you", "birthday", or any occasion card.

Tombow and Inky Antics team up!
Welcome to
the Inky/Tombow Blog Hop! Our talented Inky designers teamed up with the nice
folks at Tombow, and we’re all featuring projects made with Inky Antics stamps
and Tombow products. If you’ve come from Inky Antic’s blog, you are in the right place. If not, be sure to start there for the hop.
I am so excited with this weeks team up! Tombow is teaming up with Inky Antics. My first rubber stamps were Inky Antics and I am blessed to be on their team as well as Tombow's!
I received two stamp sets from Inky Antics. 11028MC Monkey Honey Pops, HCP-PRN green and HCP-BRN brown honey comb paper and 11032MC Bazooples #1 Clear Set.
Here is my Honey Pops card.
These are sooo much fun to create and imagine the smile on the recipient's face when they open this card.
Inky Antics has a video you can watch to show how very simple these are to create.
Next up, I created a fun notepad using the Bazooples set I received. To make my notepad I used scraps from several cards I made for CHA for the Inky Antics booth.
I colored the giraffe with Tombow's Dual Brush Pens and Irojiten Colored Pencils. I used Tombow's Mono Adhesive Permanent for all my adhesive on both projects except for adhering the Honey Pop and I used their Mono Glue Stick which is perfect for this!
Using up scraps is a great way to keep them from collecting AND this notepad makes a nice gift.
Here is a peek at the inside:
The blog hop starts today and ends on Sunday, July 24th at midnight Central time. Please visit each DT members’ blog to view their project and leave feedback. The more you comment, the better your chances are to win. (Limit one comment per blog, please). One person’s name will be drawn at random to receive a fun Inky/Tombow prize pack, similar to what each of our designers received to make their projects! The lucky winner’s name will be announced on the Inky Antics blog next Monday, so remember to stop back and see if you’ve won.
To check out what the Tombow designers have made and get another chance to win prizes, please click here.
Thank you for stopping by! Now it's time to hop on over to Trudy's blog to see what she created for the hop.

FSS Wheelbarrows
I have 2 more precolored wheelbarrow cards to share with you from FredSheSaid. You can find these images in their store here.
I am still working on whittling down my scrap file and matched the precolored images to what I already had cut up.

CC Fun in the Sun
YAY! My CHA projects are done and I have a card to share with you today! This fun card was inspired by several I had seen on-line where they put surf board images into torn paper representing sand. I wish I would have had some fine sand paper, cuz I think this would have made fun "sand".
I paper pieced Cutting Cafe's Assorted Surf Boards with My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky line. These fun bold and bright colors made fun and funky surf boards! "Fun in the Sun" was colored with Tombow Dual Brush Pens and is from Cutting Cafe's Summer Fun printable stamp set.
The "waves" are actually a woodgrain from Happy Go Lucky and I thought it would make great wavy water. The clouds are from My Mind's Eye's Lime Twist Fly a Kite line. At first I had the water all behind the surf boards, but it made it look like the sky. Aaron told me it needed some sky, so I cut it on one of the wavy "lines" and added the sky above it. Love it! Glad I have that kid around! Ü
If you want to see lots more awesome 'summer' inspiration, check out the Cutting Cafe blog here. There is a chance to win some goodies too!

BFB Here Burns My Candle
Here Burns My Candle by Liz Curtis Higgs
This book is set in 1745 and is based on the Old Testament story of Naomi and Ruth. It is filled with such historical detail of Scotland that unless you are familiar with Scotland, it was just too much detail. I just kept skimming the pages to get the gist of the story as it was just too much detail and to boring for me.
I have several of her children's books and absolutely love them, so was very disappointed to read my first adult book of hers.
**I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review

D2D Saturday Challenge It's My Party
Hello! Today I am your challenge hostess for D2D's weekly Saturday Challenge. This week is my birthday, so I chose the theme "It's My Party". All you have to do is create anything that you would give for a birthday...card, gift item, gift bag, etc.
I chose to use D2D's Spring Kaela. I just love the look on her face, she is so sweet.
For the inside I used a digital birthday ticket I found here online (you have to scroll down a bit).
To play along, just go to D2D's blog and upload your creation by next Friday. Don't forget to check out all the inspiration in our gallery as well.
