Candy Corn October Bingo

I had so much fun with this week's challenge at Cutting Cafe. We were challenged to use a Bingo image. Regina has so many fun ones that it was hard to choose which one to use. I finally chose Bingo Card Month (you get all 12 months). I also used Halloween All Around (the candy corn) and Halloween Time for the sentiment.

I used Tombow's Mono Adhesive Clear and added adhesive all over the candy corn piece, sprinkled with glitter and rubbed into the adhesive. I love how smooth this makes the glitter. For the little heart, I colored it to look like candy corn and then applied Mono Multi Liquid Glue, then the glitter. Tombow's Dual Brush Pens were used to color the images.

BI Full Nest

Today is my last post for Biblical Impressions blog (I will have one more BI post here next week). I used the Full Nest image. It is a quick and easy card and could be used for any occasion. I just love these fat little baby birds waiting for their momma to find them some worms. Ü

Whipper Snapper Fall/Winter Image + D2D Digital Papers Blog Hop

Wanting to Be a Princess

I love this week's challenge. We were to create a project that depicts a book we've read or like to read. I was having a hard time thinking of something for the books I read now, so decided to go back to my childhood and created some cards that have princesses on them. I loved stories with princesses in them. Two of my favorites were the Princess and the Pea (DH swears I can feel a "bump" in a bed that no one else can see or feel LOL) and Rapunzel. Love those stories still. (side note...have you seen the movie Tangled? Oh my goodness, you've got to see it if you haven't. Wonderful movie based somewhat off of Rapunzel story)

Okay, back to my Princess' cards. I used Princess images from Inky Antics to create these 3 cards.

I used Tombow's Mono Adhesive Permanent to put the card pieces together and Mono Multi Liquid Glue for the gems. The images are colored with Irojiten Colored Pencils.

OCL Back to School

OurCraftLounge's challenge this week is Back to School and to use the above photo as our inspiration. I created this mini notepad using paper scraps the colors of the crayons and School Notes stamp set. I also used some of the May Arts ribbon.

Back to School Maisie

Today is challenge day over on D2D. The challenge this week is Back to School. While several didn't start school til Tuesday, we've been at it for a month now.

I love this new little girl that Faith designed. Her name is Maisie Belle and you can find her here.

Pumpkin Bingo

I have a fun card to share with you today using 2 of Cutting Cafe's files. The bingo card image is from their Fall Time Bingo Card set and the center was created with the Welcome Fall set.

If you have been around my blog very much, you know how much I LOVE fall!!! We have been having much cooler weather the past few days and you can just feel the fall coming in the air.
As I was creating this card, memories came back of playing Bingo at my grandma's house as a young girl. I have 4 younger brothers and it was so much fun to play Bingo there, because we got to use candy as our game pieces. It was hard not to eat the M & M's (or whatever she gave us to use, sometimes pennies Ü) until the game was over.

BI Sunflower

Today for my Biblical Impressions post I have used Medium Sunflower. Patterned papers are some that I've had sewn together for a long time and have a stack of them that I pull from time to time to see if my coloring matches anything I have in my stack. I thought this paper panel was perfect for my image.

I left the a sentiment off, so I can use it for whenever I need a card.

OCL Sneak Peek Day 2

Happy September!! We have an early out today because it is to get up to 100 with a heat index of even higher!! I am sooooo ready for fall!!

Today I have the cutest image to share with you! It is from OurCraftLounge's Monster Hugs set. This set just makes me smile and these images are perfect for little boys! Esp. the 2 little nephews I have!

OCL Sneak Peek

Today is the first day of OurCraftLounge's Sneak Peeks of half of their new releases.

The image I am showing today is Fall Scarecrow. It is one of their new singles sets. The sets come with one large image and a couple smaller coordinating images. This one comes with two sentiments that you can see by clicking on the link.

I created a gift bag made from a smaller size lunch sack that I cut down. It measures 4.25" x 5.5". Paper are by My Mind's Eye and bag "handles" are May Arts. The loopy jute is wired, so it was perfect for handles.

We've been having hot weather lately and a sundae would be a wonderful cool treat. This cute image is from Inky Antics 11045MC Sundae Birdy HoneyPOP Clear Stamp Set.

For the inside I used Ivory, Light Blue, and Red Honeycomb paper.

I am soooo ready for cooler weather and fall to make its appearance! Tuesday it was 104* and that is just too hot, esp when the air conditioners don't work in the school. So with fall on my mind, I used Autumn Garden stamp set and May Arts KB46 Gingham Ribbon for my card today.

Using a Making Memories safety pin, I cut "Thankful for you" with Nestibilities tag die and attached it to the knot in the ribbon.

Cupcake Day Wishes

Hello! Welcome back to day 3 of OCL/May Arts Swap Week. The card I made today uses an image from Big Birthday Wishes stamp set. The May Arts ribbon is DD14 Grosgrain Polka Dot Ribbon. The dots are flocked! It is soooo cool!

I added a line of Tombow's Mono Multi Liquid Glue behind the stamped image piece and let "dry" until tacky and then hand gathered the ribbon into the glue by pinching and scrunching the ribbon. I used Tombow's Foam Tabs to raise up the stamped panel.

I made a bow with the ribbon and added a hand crocheted flower and Basic Grey brad to the center.

M & M Dispenser

This week Regina challenged the Cutting Cafe DT to use her gumball images for our projects. (YAY! I am on the team for another round. Be sure to stop by the blog to welcome the new members as well as the older ones back).
My MIL has an antique M & M dispenser that takes pennies on her bean counter in the kitchen. There is a box full of pennies right by it and kids young and old alike enjoy the M & M's when they visit. This is where my inspiration came from. As soon as I saw the gumball machine I knew I would be making mine filled with M & M's. Ü

I used the Gumball Machine Card Template and cut with my Cricut. Super easy that way! It also comes in PDF in case you don't have a cutting machine. I embossed the silver parts to make it look old.
The " M & M's" were just punched and then I wrote and "m" on each one with my white gel pen.

Happy Birthday Benjamin!!

My oldest is 19 today. I can remember his birth as if it were yesterday. He is celebrating with his college friends tonite, one of them being the same age and 5 minutes younger than him. So Happy Birthday Lacey too! (doc delivered Benjamin and nurse came in saying Lacey was about to be born)

We celebrated his birthday Friday since he left Saturday to go back to school (5 hrs away :(  ) The cake is coconut cream...his request and very yummy!

Stamping Spaces Blog Hop

In the 3 white photo boxes I have my ribbon wrapped on 3.5" x 7" chipboard. One box is for pink, red, yellow, orange; one for blue, green and purple and the 3rd for black, brown, and white

On the bottom shelf between the boxes are 2 boxcar boxes that hold my ink refills. You can buy these at Wal-Mart. You can see how I label them on the outside.

North wall: Where I sit and do most of my stamping, I like that I can look out in our back yard. On the first shelf in the white/clear box is my SU! ink pads, bottom drawer holds SU! buttons and brads and needles. on the bottom is my 12 x 12 paper
